Meet Jana Phillips of Hip and Haute in Southwest Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jana Phillips.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jana. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
After working in the Energy industry for several years, I wanted to write about the positive news about Houston: new businesses, fashion, charities, and events. I started an email newsletter first being distributed once a quarter, then once a month, to twice a month as an online magazine. I have been fortunate to get my numerous subscribers by word of mouth. I am able to do pre and post press for numerous charities in the area and have met great Houstonians since HHH began. I have also published my first novel, Power Lies (at www.janalairdphillips.com) and will be promoting it on HHH.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us more about Hip and Haute, LLC – what else should we know?
Houston Hip and Haute is a free e-mail newsletter and website designed to serve as an insider’s guide to what is hot, hip and haute for Houstonians. This insider’s guide provides tips from fashion and style to the latest restaurants and events our city has to offer. Our picks may be new and undiscovered or old favorites some have forgotten. We love to shop in H-town and have discovered many hidden treasures. We hear about it, we see it, we try it, and, if we like it, we send the information on to you, our readers. All Houston Hip & Haute newsletters are delivered through e-mail. We produce newsletters periodically. When we discover it, we print it.

HHH is not a blog, it is a third-person online magazine. I like to help the non-profits in their fundraising and promote local small businesses.
